Makeup for Melanin is a structured guide to teach the basics of makeup Application, in a fun and fundamental way.
One of the biggest misconceptions among women of color is that makeup has to be heavy, full coverage, lots of lashes (Although you can never have enough lashes) *wink*, blush and contour. The purpose of makeup is to compliment and enhance your natural beauty. Makeup up should offer a sense of freedom and creativity. Not be so complicated that it becomes a job. There are no mistakes in makeup, although ladies please do not entertain the permanent marker brows (hand over face emoji)
This makeup guide was created to assist you on your makeup journey and answer any un-answered questions that you may have.
